Repair Cafés

  • Repair Cafés are pop-up events where the public can bring in household items to be fixed, for free. These cafés rely on volunteers to organize, repair, and run the registration desk. Please register to volunteer if you would like to be involved, or email [email protected]

Warm Hearts Jacket Repair Project

  • Warm Hearts is a community project that gives gently-used winter jackets and outerwear a second life. By repairing and rehoming these items, we help keep people warm through the cold months while also diverting wearable clothing from the landfill. Currently, the project operates in Saskatoon and Regina. Please register to volunteer if you would like to be involved, or email [email protected]

Saskatchewan has long been home to the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Swampy Cree, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota (Assiniboine), Saulteaux, and Dene First Nations. We recognize their traditional territories and the homeland of the Metis. Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council respectfully acknowledges the historic and ongoing care of these lands and stewardship of the environment. We are all beneficiaries of the Numbered treaties, and we reaffirm our relationship with one another.
