Warm Hearts - Jacket Repair Project
In honour of Waste Reduction Week, and presented by Affinity Credit Union, we welcome back Warm Hearts! This project aims to divert clean, mendable jackets from landfill. We're teaming up with some wonderful volunteers who will fix the jackets then donate them to local organizations.
We are very thankful for the volunteers last winter who repaired 240 winter items, bringing our total to 634 over the last three years. Not only were these items diverted from the landfill, but they regained their value and were redistributed back into the community.
Available in Regina, Saskatoon and Moose Jaw.
