Warm Hearts - Jacket Repair Project

In honour of Textile Tuesday of Waste Reduction Week, and presented by Affinity Credit Union, we welcome back Warm Hearts! This project aims to divert clean, mendable jackets from landfill. We're teaming up with some wonderful volunteers who will fix the jackets then donate them to local organizations.

We are very thankful for the volunteers last winter who repaired 222 winter items, bringing our total to 394 over the last two years. Not only were these items diverted from the landfill, but they regained their value and were redistributed back into the community.

Available in Regina, Saskatoon and Moose Jaw.

Drop-off locations:

* Make sure jackets are CLEAN before dropping them off. Please be mindful that the volunteers have signed up to repair jackets, not clean them.
