Clean Farms Obsolete Pesticide Collection Campaign

Clean Farms Obsolete Pesticide Collection Campaign

Farmers in the northern half of the province (north of Davidson) have the chance to get rid of agricultural pesticides and animal medications from October 5-9. The program is operated by CleanFARMS in partnership with the Canadian Animal Health Institute. While CleanFARMS has an ongoing program for empty (rinsed out) pesticide containers, these collection days allow farmers to safely dispose of unwanted or obsolete pesticide product and livestock medications. The program operates on a three year cycle, covering half the province at a time. It will return to the province to collect in the southern half in 2017.  Program website
