Waste Reduction Week in Canada
October 18 - 24, 2010

Whether you're at home, work or school, commuting, playing, shopping, holidaying or helping in the community, you can reduce waste during "Waste Reduction Week" and throughout the year.

Consider having Waste Reduction Week officially proclaimed in your community! For a sample proclamation, click here - but don't worry, anything goes!  Our Theme 

Our theme emphasizes saving our earth and its resources—Too Good To Waste. WRW focuses on educating Canadians about overconsumption. Join the other concerned Canadians planning activities that promote waste-free households, workplaces, schools and communities.

Organizers, municipalities, businesses, and community groups will be planning events for Waste Reduction Week. Why not schedule an event yourself—send us your ideas! You can take advantage of our Theme Days 2009 to schedule your event:
