Company Introduces Polystyrene Compactor

Recycling Equipment Manufacturing Inc. (REMFG.com), based in Spokane, Wash., has introduced the REM Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Compaction Machine.

The machine features a compaction ratio of up to 50:1. A stainless steel extrusion and forming chamber allows the equipment to process wet material, and interior steel surface with rust-inhibiting paint prevents rust from getting on the EPS product.

REM's EPS compaction systems compacts bulky items made of EPS into easy-to-handle blocks. These easily-transported blocks can be reused as PS granulate.

REM has been supplying equipment for the recycling, scrap, beverage and paper industries for more than 31 years.

See their website.
