    Accepts old rechargeable and old disposable batteries including: Alkaline (Single Use), Lithium Ion (Li-ion), Lithium Primary, Carbon-zinc Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Nickel Zinc (Ni-ZN) and Small Sealed Lead (Pb).

    Restrictions:

    Accepts individual batteries weighing 5 Kg (11 lbs) or less.
    Do not accept: Sealed Lead (Pb) batteries weighing more than 2 lbs.
    The weight limit of one large box of batteries is 66 lbs.
    Please contact your location regarding how much space they have if you have multiple boxes of batteries to recycle.

    Bulbs can be dropped off, picked up for a fee, or mailed in their original packaging.

    Restrictions:

    Cost for services is: $0.50/incandescent bulb, $1.00/compact fluorescent bulb, $0.14/ft for tubes, $2.00/each for HID light bulbs.

    Accepts used Brita pitchers, dispensers, bottles, faucet systems, filters and packaging through Terracycle.

    How to Participate:
    • Create a TerraCycle account at www.terracycle.ca and join the free Brita Recycling Program.
    • Download and print out a pre-paid UPS shipping label from TerraCycle account, which will be sent via email.
    • Ship the box to TerraCycle by calling UPS at 1-800-742-5877 and scheduling a pick up for the next business day. Can also drop off your parcel at any UPS location.

    Restrictions:

    Do not accept: other brands of water filters.
