Membership

SWRC Members

We welcome all members - individuals, businesses, non-profits or other organizations, schools, municipalities - everyone!  In addition to voting privileges at general meetings, members receive our bi-monthly newsletter, WasteWatch, and reduced admission fees to our events. Your SWRC membership also gives you access to our research services. Tell us what you are trying to recycle, and we will do a half hour of research to find out the best options available to you - if we don't know already!

Membership Application

To become an SWRC member, submit our on-line membership application, and we will invoice you for the membership fee.

Alternatively, print out the PDF version and submit with your cheque or request an invoice, or call our office at 306 931-3242 for payment by Visa or Mastercard.

Sustaining Members

A partnership for a less wasteful future

To waste is, ultimately, unsustainable. Squandering assets and heedlessly dumping residual materials into the environment create negative economic, social and ecological impacts.

On the other hand, waste reduction, re-use and recycling make sense from all perspectives. The enormous costs of resource depletion and ecosystem contamination can be avoided.

Sustaining Members recognize the value of an organization which speaks for waste reduction in the province. They share SWRC's values and support its activities.

Sustaining Members contribute $10,000 or more annually to the operation of the SWRC.

Sustaining Members receive ongoing acknowledgment:

  • in our newsletter, WasteWatch
  • on our website
  • at conferences, forums and workshops
  • at our Annual General Meeting
  • in our Annual Report

To become a Sustaining Member, fill out our membership application, or call our office at
306 931-3242 to discuss this option further.

Contributing Members provide $3500 per year to further SWRC's mission. Supporting Members provide $1,000 per year.
