About SWRC
Our Mission
To help Saskatchewan and its people attain the environmental, economic
and cultural benefits that come from reducing waste.
This will be achieved through consultation, communication, education,
and related support services.
Our Goals
- To provide accurate, balanced waste reduction information.
- To encourage networking and partnership development.
- To offer input on policies which deal with solid and hazardous waste.
Our Activities
Our Members
We welcome all members - individuals, non-profits or other organizations, schools, municipalities, associations - everyone! In addition to voting privileges at general meetings, members receive
our quarterly newsletter, WasteWatch,
and reduced admission fees to our events.
Sustaining Members contribute $7,500 or more
annually to the operation of SWRC.
In return, SWRC provides services which meet both our mandate
and a Sustaining Member's needs.
These can vary from project management, to research, to promotion opportunities,
to program planning.
Supporting Members donate $1,000 per year to further SWRC's
mission.
